Chef Robert Thompson

Rising talent and Michelin starred chef, Robert Thompson approached Waxcrayon and asked us to brand not only him as a chef and personality in his own right but also each of his growing portfolio of businesses. We set about creating an integrated series of brands that reflected the individual characteristics of each business, whilst holding together as a brand “family”.
The Hambrough
+ Branding/Logo Design + Stationery + Menus + Web Design
The Michelin starred Hambrough Restaurant and Hotel is one of the top rated restaurants in the country. The Hambrough asked us to give it a full brand overhaul to reflect the classy, elegant nature of its food and accommodation. We then applied this philosophy to a series of hand finished, debossed and foiled menus in addition to a stunning series of new stationery, that was etched and engraved by the printers appointed to the Royal household.
Tegumai Magazine
+ Publishing + Illustration + Graphic Design
A cutting edge youth culture magazine project run with 11 year olds and above from Westergate Community School in Chichester. With 40,000 plus copies being distributed around the West Sussex area, Tegumai Magazine gives students a platform from which to communicate their thoughts and opinions directly to a massive readership.
Enabling Technologies Ltd

A brochure with a series of inserts enabling this world leading engineering company to effictively target and promote their different areas of expertise. The brochures were printed on the highest quality matt stock available, to reflect the precision and high-end quality that is intrinsic to the engineering industry.
Elfmade Christmas
+ Web Design + Illustration + Print
A series of Christmas cards, giftwrap and gift tags all printed on 100% recycled material. In order to promote and facilitate sales of the product range, the full design and development of a website was required. Two of our illustrations from the card range won international awards as well!
Yates Brewery
+ Packaging Design + Illustration + Print
Yates Brewery required a new series of bottle labels creating, in order to launch their locally produced range of ales into the national marketplace through major retailers such as Sainsburys. It was a prerequisite that the bottles should stand out on the shelf from the more “old-school,” complex and traditional styled packaging designs associated with real ales.
Fusion Magazine
+ Illustration + Publishing + Graphic Design + Print
A cutting edge youth culture magazine, published 3 times a year for young people aged 14 – 21 on the Isle of Wight. Covering topics such as local issues, entertainment, sport, healthy eating, green issues and fashion, the magazine gives young people the opportunity to communicate with readers through the platform of a professionally published magazine.
Waxcrayon Brochure

A promotional brochure published by Waxcrayon Design to showcase the full range of services that we offer, whilst gving a more detailed insight into our portfolio. It was printed on 100% recylced paper and used a beautiful spot-UV Varnish to highlight detailing on the front and back covers. This major financial institution located in the heart of the City of London, required a range of marketing materials and a new website designing. Some aspects carried a more creative brief and some required a cleaner, more corporate approach.
Health and Wellbeing Directory

This quarterly publication promotes all facets of the Isle of Wight’s Health and Wellbeing industry. It contains information and articles on everything from standard mainstream medicine right through to more holistic and alternative approaches.
